Silicone dipped light bulb ideas

Dear prim buddies,
   I'm just taking a break from my crafting and cleaning to post! Its so nice out today I think I may wow! heeee! Well anyways I wanted to chat about some lovely ideas for these great little things!

 Idea #1. Silicone from wal-mart (mainstays) works great! But, have you ever dipped a Big bulb and it started smelling funny???? "Well I have!" So, I use this!!!! Automotive Silicone!!!!! Ta da!!!! It is made to withstand high heat!!!!

Idea #2. The color. Anyone getting tired with the plain color?
Try mixing OIL BASED PAINT with it! My favorites are brown and yellow mixed together!

Idea#3. Want your home to smell yummy? Add some oil to it!!!! The kind you use for your candle warmers or to freshen your pip berries!!!!
There are so many ideas out there but these are my favorites!!!!

     Just a shout out to my daughter Brianna who will  be giving up her title this year as little miss and giving  it to this years 2010 winner! You looked wonderful and we love you! Her sister Brooklyn had won in 2007 as Little miss Sparkler also and gave up her title in 2008!!!! With the 4th of July coming I thought I would post this, as I am very proud of each of them!!!!

My Primitive Bowl shelf

Hi to my prim buddies! Well my weekend project is my bowl holder shelf lol! I want one and I'm going to make one! Around where I lave the stores are very pricey. I think I could make one just fine and for less maybe I might need my Hubbies help but I can do it! I'm ready for this rain to stop so I can get some outside work done! Its eaither unsightly hot or rainy! lol

My idea for those old windows

I had a old window laying around with no use for it so I decided to put it to some good use! I gave it a quick paint job and sanding and then added a nice little shelf to it! I wanted to be able to put things on it! I added pics of my kiddos and its prim perfect!!!! I like it!!!!

Dollar Tree update!!!!

I just was in our local dollar tree and I seen that they are now carrying the flame less candles! I thought to myself?! YES!!!! I could make them into some pretty cute prim candles and so with a little mod podge and spices i did so! You can even drawl or paint on them as this one pictured! But I thought I would share that with you so you can check out your local Dollar Tree!!!!

Welcome to the world to Brystol and Brylee Richardson

Yesterday my sister in law Had a unexpected  arrival of her twin girls almost 3 and a half months early!!!! They are doing fine and only weighing out at 1 and 1/2 pounds that's amazing!!!! I am so proud of my brother and sister in law for the way they handled that day!!!! Congratulations and welcome to the world kiddos!!!! We wish you the best in the next 3 months stay at the hospital!!!!

Primitive Scavenger hunt still under way!!!!

Hello to all you you simply prim ladies!!!! We are all in for a Hot week I do believe! I think its HOT all over the USA!!!! I'm loving it though! Because come winter time I'm going to be complaining I'm Freezing again!lol! Anyways I am in the need of a pattern for a bonnet like the one shown!
